The new facility marks a strategic milestone in Sonatype’s mission to accelerate secure, AI-powered software development at global scale.

With over 200 engineers, product leaders, AI experts, and security researchers, the Sonatype Innovation Center in Hyderabad will drive innovation across core products such as Nexus Repository, trusted by over 15 million developers, and Maven Central, the world’s largest open-source Java repository.
The Sonatype Innovation Center in Hyderabad will also bolster Sonatype’s AI capabilities and ensure 24/7 global support for its clients.

Leading Sonatype’s India operations is Abhishek Chauhan, newly appointed Head of India and Senior Director of Technology, who brings significant experience from leading roles at Wells Fargo and Lending Tree.
